FACES WITH PAINTED PANELS

Faces with painted panels. The faces available to be surmounted by panels of various shapes and forms, painted with reproductions taken from the notable iconography dedicated to the subject of masks, characters from the Commedia dell'Arte, Comedie Italienne and carnival are the following: 090-098-114-115-116-126. One of the first models of this kind to be produced was the so-called "Regina del Carnevale", which on face 126 bore a flattened horizontal panel in the shape of a Venetian Gothic ogive echoing the architecture of the famous lagoon city. Over time I have been able to indulge in many shapes and variations accompanied by the widest and inexhaustible iconography reproduced with various techniques, watercolour, tempera oil and sometimes a fusion of mixed techniques.
